**CURRENT UPDATE**

To: The Residents of the City of Cameron

Here is the most current update that I have for you. As of today’s date, there have been no positive test results for Coronavirus within Clinton County.

For public safety purposes, City staff and officials are continuing to review upcoming events and meetings for potential postponement or to possibly restrict access. Information will be posted on the City’s website and Facebook as soon as any determinations are made.

The City of Cameron as well as Cameron Regional Medical Center encourage all citizens to Stay Home when you are ill. CRMC will have a fever/respiratory tent set up beginning Friday, March 20, 2020 from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm. Any patient 16 years and older exhibiting fever and/or respiratory issues should present to this tent for screening rather than to one of CRMC’s satellite clinics. Children 15 years and younger may go to a satellite clinic for screening. Questions may be directed to 816-649-3260.

The Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services has established a 24-hour hotline for citizens or providers needing guidance about COVID-19. This hotline is live 24/7 and staffed by medical professionals (877) 435-8411.

Residents are still encouraged to limit their risk of exposure to potential transmission of the Coronavirus. We also want to remind you that City Hall’s lobby is currently closed but the drive-thru window remains open for business during normal business hours.

Sincerely,

Darlene Breckenridge, Mayor
