1. What type of businesses can be operated from my home?

Allowable occupations include home offices, tailoring, tutoring, telephone sales, arts and crafts, and daycare. No merchandise may be displayed or sold on-sight. A business license is required.

2. What are the rules on garage sales?

Garage sales are limited to four per year. They may be operated between the hours of 7:00 am and 7:00 pm. They must not contain consignment items. No Sunday sales are allowed, and all merchandise must be removed by 10:00 pm on the final day. (Zoning Article 26)

3. Can I place signs in my front yard?

Yes. Two yard signs are allowed having no more than six square feet each. The maximum height is 15-foot. Signs must be on private property and not in the right-of-ways or on utility poles.
