How many dogs can I have and do they need dog tags? Sec 5-121 and Sec 5-130
You are allowed no more than four companion animals over six months in age. This can be a combination of dogs, cats or pot bellied pigs. All pets must be vaccinated for rabies by a licensed veterinarian and registered with the City of Cameron when they reach six months of age.

Pet tags are due by January 31st of each year. The cost of each tag is $15 unless the pet is spayed or neutered, and then the cost is $10. Proof of spay/neuter must be verified by a licensed veterinarian.

There will be a $5 late fee starting in February of each year. Replacement tags are $2 per tag.
