1. Does Cameron have a recycling program?

Yes. Curbside recycling pick-up occurs every week on your regular trash day. Recycle bins may be purchased at City Hall and are necessary to participate.

2. What do I do with large items like furniture or televisions?

The City has an agreement with R&W Container for large (bulky) item pick-up for City of Cameron customers. Simply contact R&W Container directly at (816) 632-3590 to arrange the pickup for a small fee. Construction materials do not qualify for the large item pick-up.

3. What should I do with my old Christmas tree?

The City offers a Christmas tree collection site near City Hall for a few weeks after the holidays (for real trees-not artificial trees). Do not burn the trees or leave them for trash collection.
