Yes. For residential customers, the deposit is $150 for electric service and $75 for water service. Deposits are applied to final bills. Contact City Hall for information on commercial utility deposits.
During regular business hours, contact City Hall at (816) 632-2177. If an emergency happens after hours, contact the Water Plant at (816) 632-2844 as it is staffed 24-hours a day.
Utility payments are due by the 15th of each month. After that date, late penalties are added to the bill. The fourth Tuesday of each month is the disconnect day for unpaid utilities. Contact City Hall at (816) 632-2177 to make payment arrangements if you are unable to pay by the disconnect day (arrangements must be made before disconnect day).
